How To Play 90 Ball Bingo

Introduction

90-Ball Bingo is the bingo game traditionally played in the United Kingdom and Australia. The game is similar to 75-Bingo, where players purchase Cards/Tickets, then mark the numbers that are called and hope to be the first player who correctly completes the winning pattern. Although the basic foundations of the two games are the same there are many differences. In the 90-Ball Bingo cards have three rows and nine columns. Five squares in each row contain numbers ranging from 1 to 90 and the rest are blank.

And a sample card would look like this:

The game is played when balls are pulled randomly and announced by the Caller. If the number is on your card(s) you mark it off! The firstplayer to complete the pattern being played will hit Bingo! The game is stopped, and the winner(s) get paid.

How to play

Step 1: Choose a game type

Choose a game room from the list of Bingo Rooms in the center of the screen. This is one of the only bingo sites on the net that you can join a game that is already in progress. Each bingo room has a theme and the images and chat games played in this room will reflect the theme. For example The Aquarium room has images of sea creatures and the chat game that is played in this room is "Mermaid Races".

Step 2: Buy Cards/Tickets

After selecting one of the above choices, a new screen will open up. You will need to purchase tickets at this point. Go to the top leftside of the screen and click on ‘TICKETS'. You will have a choice of playing from 1 to 5 tickets. Just click on the number of tickets you would like to play and the cards will launch onto the screen. In 90-Ball Bingo, each individual face (grid of numbers) is referred to as a Ticket, which is synonymous with cards in 75-Ball Bingo. 90-BallBingo Tickets are 3 rows by 9 columns. Each row contains 5 numbers and 4 blank spaces. 90-Ball Bingo is almost always played with Strips of six Tickets. Each Strip contains all 90 numbers distributed throughout the 6 Tickets in a Dab-All format. If a Strip (6 Tickets) is played in one bingo game then every possible number from 1 -90 is covered and therefore, a number is crossed off at each bingo call.

In game options

There are options you may turn on or off to customize your game. This options include...

Sound: You may turn off the callers voice and the bingo call.

Autodaub: If you are feeling particularily quick you can de-select the ‘autodaub' function and daub the numbers as they are called manually.

Autowager: If you would like to keep playing while you are busy doing something else, click on the ‘auto wager' function that will allow you to keep wagering and playing.

Patterns & Calls

The winning patterns are always the same and there are usually three patterns in each game. Each game has three patterns and each of the three patterns has a prize associated with it. The patterns include Single Line Across (Line), Two Lines Across (Two Lines), and FullHouse. The first player to correctly cross off a horizontal a Line; then Two Lines and finally for crossing off all the numbers on a Ticket(Full House), would win the corresponding prize for that pattern.

You can see the numbers that have been called at the numbers panel at the bottom of the screen. The current number being called is displayed on the large red circle placed in the middle of the screen. Each number has a name associated with it, for example: 74 is candy store, 50 is half and century and 14 is valentines day.

To see players that have joined this game see the field in the middle of the screen.

The chat room is a lot of fun. You can see how the other players are doing as well as meet new friends.
